Pokemon Platinum
As the story unfolds, players will encounter the mysterious new Distortion World, an area unlike any seen in a Pokemon video game before. The normal rules of time and space don’t apply to this world, allowing the area to push the limits of the Pokemon game world.
Players leap from pieces of land suspended in midair, walk sideways and even upside-down. The Distortion World, where the powerful Giratina resides, is somehow connected to the regular Pokemon world.
Yoshi’s Island
Enemy is Yoshi’s mouth
Get DK if you do not already have him. Swallow an enemy, then climb on a vine and reach out. You should still have the enemy in Yoshi’s mouth. However, it is not. When you drop down, realize the enemy will be back in Yoshi’s mouth.
Feet remains still when flutter jumping
Make Yoshi do the flutter jump. Just when he is doing the flutter jump, press X (or R button if you switched the controls) to make Yoshi aim his eggs. Notice that his feet stay still when they are actually meant to kick around while he is flutter jumping.
In-game reset
Press L + R + Start + Select during game play.
Rotating arrow
You can swallow the rotating arrow in any stage it appears in.
Time Trial mode
Successfully complete the game, then load your cleared saved game file. The question mark that previously appeared un the lower right corner will be replaced with the “Time Trial” option. There are five extra levels (one from each World) in Time Trial mode that are playable with a black Yoshi.

Score the indicated amount of points in Practice mode to unlock the corresponding All-Star.
Ace the tennis player: 400 points.
Clutch the baseball player: 1600 points.
Slice the golf player: 4000 points.
Snappy the football player: 10000 points.
Strike the soccer player: 40 points.

Get Kitty Bling in Story Mode to unlock Practice Mode.

Konohamaru Password
When entering the school, talk to Konohamaru. He is on the ground floor between the Mission and Challenges doors. Entering the password gives you a character item. These character items unlock the character, but it can only be used after you have beaten the game.

World Championship Poker Hints
Avoid repeating earlier rounds
After you completed the first round of a Hold ‘Em tournament, don’t go “all in” on a hand in the later rounds. When you get down to around $500 or more, when asked if you want to play again at the end of a hand, you have to say “No”. If you do this, you can start the tournament over again on the round you are currently on instead of completing the earlier rounds again.
Easy money
Go into the Air Hockey room and look at the cola machine, then walk back. Press A + B + R immediately. If done correctly, you should get $200.
Nebula Secret Chips
Go next to the tournament table in the Wild Corral casino. Use the map to find the northeast corner of the room and look at the floor. You will find a red poker chip that allows you to enter the Nebula. You may first need to play some of the Wild Corral tournaments. Enter the Air Hockey room from the right side entryway. Look along the floor of the right wall to find a red poker chip. Pick it up and you will be able to enter the Nebula.
