Need for Speed: Nitro

Electronic Arts is releasing a new Need for Speed game in November called Need for Speed: Nitro. This is a Nintendo-only game for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. However, in September there will be a Need for Speed: Nitro released for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and PSP. The game has gotten good reviews for its handling capabilities. On the Wii, the game can be played with either Wii remote, nunchuk, the racing wheel, or the old Gamecube controller. More is sure to come out on this new Need for Speed game.

The Beatles: Rock Band Bundle Priced in AUS (The Beatles: Rock Band)


JB Hi-Fi have released their initial pricing for The Beatles: Rock Band via their website.

The Bundle will be priced at AUD $349 on the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii at JB Hi-Fi. The stand alone disc will set you back $79 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and $69 on the Wii. Once again these are JB’s prices which are generally lower than the RRP on launch.

Wii Sports Resort launch event in Times Square on July 23rd (Wii Sports Resort)


Nintendo will transform the electric and concrete jungle of Times Square into a Wii Sports Resort tropical island getaway for the launch of the Wii game. Here are the details from Nintendo on what you’ll find:

"Nintendo is transforming New York’s famed Military Island in Times Square into an urban island getaway to celebrate the launch of the Wii Sports Resort video game. On July 23, anyone who visits this Manhattan landmark will be treated to a mini-vacation, complete with a sandy beach, swimming pool and tropical lounge – all smack dab in the middle of the city – plus a chance to play Wii Sports Resort in advance of its U.S. July 26 release date. Based on the imaginative Wuhu Island locale featured in the game, this interactive oasis will also offer game demonstrations, giveaways (while supplies last) and a bar serving tropical non-alcoholic drinks."

Rock Band Xbox 360, PS3, Wii & PSP DLC Releases (Rock Band)


Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that three packs from new power group The Dead Weather, metal legends Judas Priest and indie rockers Big Dipper will be added to the Rock Band Music Store of Downloadable Content (DLC) next week for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3).

Additionally, back-catalogue tracks from The Pixies, Foreigner, The Killers, Spinal Tap and more will be available in the Wii Rock Band Music Store, and tracks from Radiohead and Killswitch Engage will be available for Rock Band Unplugged.

Cheat codes make games more enjoyable. Just remember that no matter what you are playing be it Halo, Grand Theft Auto or Mario Kart that you respect your opponents. Don't taunt them too much. Also if you win all the time, you might find that people will no longer want to play with you.

It won't matter what it is. They won't even want to play bingo or old maid with you. So be careful not to alienate people.

There should be no moral dilemma attached to cheat codes and people shouldn't get the wrong idea about them. They don't mean you are cheating, per say. What they do is give you access to in-game features that otherwise you would have no way of accessing. Kind of like the extras that come with a DVD.
