Gaming has certainly come an awful long way since the days of Atari’s 2600 system, with many new innovations in how a game is played, not to mention in its visual and audio quality. Back in the 1970’s, with the dawn of the video gaming age, the goal was to offer the most entertaining and innovative games that technology would allow, which is a tradition that is still ongoing to this day, with companies always seeking to get the most out of the latest gaming systems, but games were very different in both looks and game play, than what is the norm today.

Cheat codes make games more enjoyable. Just remember that no matter what you are playing be it Halo, Grand Theft Auto or Mario Kart that you respect your opponents. Don't taunt them too much. Also if you win all the time, you might find that people will no longer want to play with you.

It won't matter what it is. They won't even want to play bingo or old maid with you. So be careful not to alienate people.

There should be no moral dilemma attached to cheat codes and people shouldn't get the wrong idea about them. They don't mean you are cheating, per say. What they do is give you access to in-game features that otherwise you would have no way of accessing. Kind of like the extras that come with a DVD.
